The Sims has never been about realism. They purposely call it woohoo and refer alcohol as nectar to keep the Teen rating. You can't even get drunk in the game. Since they tie everything to moodlets, that is all you would really see. What this post asks for is to up the rating for mature audiences only. EA isn't about to do that because that isn't the target audience. I allowed my kids to play this game as young as 6 years old because they could handle the Teen rating. There is already a warning about the references with a teen rating. It isn't about shame or embarrassment. My youngest daughter became a woman at age 8 and she didn't need a game to teach that type of stuff. Perhaps look at what is technically allowed under the game's current rating. I googled the rating to show what is allowed. It can reference but not explicitly show it. When Sims woohoo, you can't seee it, so that is a reference. What was described in the original post was more explicit.
