Well I gave up mods because of troubleshooting a game changing issue I was experiencing. And the more I get into different stuff, the more problems seem to arise. Not all problems are from delving into new packs and just seem to appear out of the blue and for no reason, and they want everything troubleshooted with no mods. So I am doing my best not to use them again because it is just too much. But then the limitations of the game without certain mods, like dog walking, better butlers, elevator/portals is starting to wear on me too. I feel like I'm darned if I do and darned if I don't.
I have one mod that covers this whole topic in my game. It's base game and I get alerts in my game when I need to update it so it's not an issue for me. I only have 3 core mods that I have to keep track of and they are all active mods that update with each patch.
It's really not that hard if you know what you are putting into your game and make sure everything in your game is updated. I would not play this game without them.

pm me and tell me which mods you use if you wouldn't mind. I'm not sure I will change my mind but I might. I am an update freak when it comes to anything and everything so that is not an issue. I didn't think I used a lot of mods until the last time I decided to remove them so I took screenshots to remember what I had since curseforge doesn't allow me to favorite them. And I had at least five full page screenshots and was floored. To need that many for basic, common sense stuff is pretty ridiculous I think.

The one that covers this topic is for adults. I don't think I can pm you about it but its a very popular mod that is active and gets updated with each patch. It's Wicked though.🙂
The other mods are related to food and I can give you a link here. Realistic Cooking Mod 7.3
you trying to get me banned. (kidding!)😜😵

lol heavens no, I would never. that is why i said a pm bc who knows. I know what you refer but lord, need to go to school for all the settings in that. I'm not in a place atm where I can focus on delving into something too in depth. Perhaps I will revisit it again one day. This cooking mod looks interesting. I have bookmarked the page to remind me about it thank you. I'm in the process of figuring out how to install two installations of the Sims 4 on my computer so I can run one with mods and the other without. Only running one at a time of course. I think I have figured it out but I'm not ready to go there just yet. Wish me luck!
