Wait, what? Make it make sense—the math is not mathing! 😅Regarding menstruation and menopause. Menstruation is a natural process for a pre-teen/teen! How in the world is menstruation/menopause, which is a part of a woman's anatomy, increasing the teen rating? Women give birth, so this is a part of being a woman. This is a biological lifelong process that is a part of a woman's life. If we want to be inclusive? Yes, it should be considered. However, women are not a minority. And this could be a setting you could turn off—if you don't want it. As a female myself, I'm not against it. Why should I be? It's a part of being a female. And it's a part of our daily life. It stays for a couple of decades. Female Sims get babies but they don't have menstrual cycles—very logical. 🫠 It makes sense, right? I think this is debatable! We will exclude male sims, of course! Why because this is a special Alien-Sims-Thing! 😂
You don't need to show the blood, but there are ways around it, as a very well-known mod proves. Wohoo and Death are the best examples of a workaround. Menstruation/Menopause: That's something every "biologically" woman on planet Earth goes through, regardless of the location in the world. I don't understand why people (especially females) are against it. 🙃 I don't need it per se, but I'm also not against it. 😉

The main reason seems to be that we're not keen on having to deal with it in real life, and enjoy the fact that our sims don't have to. That's certainly my reason. There are many ways in which I enjoy the realistic aspects of the game (I'm kind of a hybrid fantasy and realism player) but incorporating periods is not something I would enjoy. In my view it's one of the worst things about being born female, and I enjoy the fantasy of playing in a world where my pixel people aren't plagued with it.
