Please let us buy previous event or pre-order rewards

I’ve played the Sims since the beginning and consider myself loyal to the franchise but due to life, I stopped playing in 2019, I came back in April this year and bought every single pack and kit. I love playing the Sims and watching creator build/let’s play videos. I find it really annoying though that there are items in the BB catalogue I can’t use because they’re tied to previous events and pre orders. Things like the blow up couch or the triangle streamer lights.

I understand why you have time limited events and pre orders items but I would love for you to package them together for people to buy as bonus packs in case they missed the event.

Pretty please can you consider this ♥️

    The early buy incentives should be made available to everyone else after a set time frame (a year).. We're already spending 40 EUR on lackluster expansion packs, paying more for something that should've been in the pack already is a slap in the face.

    Same thing regarding the FOMO events, they should just be made available to everyone after a while, not everyone can play all the time. One tends to forget The Sims/Video games in favour of real life commitments such as school or the workplace. The event rewards should be do-able with scenarios, it would kill two birds with one stone by breathing life back into scenarios and allowing us to get these items.

    My suggestion is that the special events get an own game mode like scenario, maybe called "storylines". They don't disappear so a player can start and play through older ones to get the rewards.
    Or: After an event ended the old event rewards can be bought with an ingame currency like satisfaction points or a new one you can earn by playing.
    Holy moly would i binge play the Sims 4 if i could get all the stuff i missed .... ;)

    I think if the items are more than 2/3 years old, they could be given for free but if they gave the more recent items for free, they would lose the incentive of getting people to log on or purchase EPs when they are released. I understand why they do what they do and the game needs those incentives, I would just love for them to still be obtainable in case you missed it ♥️

    I would ideally like the option for purchasing everything without a time restriction. They could pop a £5 price tag on each collection of event or pre orders items and I would buy everything. There may be people who would complain about the cost but the option was there to get them for free originally but if you missed the free window, you also have the option to purchase them 😁

    I agree. I'm very late to the Sims 4 chapter, having only started playing last year Aug. 

    They could at least do this for packs that are 5 years and older.
