Like what @thornwill said, I’d like Sims to gain skills when you’re not playing them. (Okay, I have a mod that does that.) We’ve all married the townie and opened their skill panel and gotten the Zen void of ”[name] has no skills,” and it’s yikes.
They do gain skills from clubs as NPCs, or jobs. But after several saves of gently skilling the spouse so they don’t burn the house down if I take my eyes off them, I now randomize their skills with a mod.

I’ve just started cheating in some skills for sims that join my family. At least young adult and up, and maybe some low skill levels for teens. No way do you get adult with zero skills in anything at all.
@shannon730 I'm guessing this is about townies not developing skills outside of whatever they already had preset? That is weird yeah but not sure how it could translate to a NS option, that feels like something that should just be a feature in the game itself, especially gaining skills related to their job.
Adding onto this in light of the new expansion being around the theme of love. Maybe an update to Neighborhood Stories as well? Get townies to date each other on their own instead of relying on me to hook them up.
