I'll clearly hold back getting this pack. All benches filled with dating couples sounds way too much...
EA way too often overdo a new feature, and then it gets tuned down eventually to give space for something new. My problem with this is that I would be fine with playing romance stuff in a few households, but not in all of them. I wish we could keep space for some of the many old features too, not letting it all go only because of one new pack. The temple situation sounds horrible. I though the temple getting holiday decor was quite bad - all those lights in the jungle made no sense, but the new problem with regular couples hanging around as if it was an ordinary park sounds like ruining the jungle pack.
I agree, the new feature is often overdone to the annoying level. The worst thing is the new feature sometimes disturbs the old feature, such as phone calls.
I don't have to rely on mods to tune in almost many parts of the feature but I don't have a chance because they seem to treat it as a feature.
Right now, some mods can get rid of the worst situations such as Jungle Temple. But the park situation still can't avoid those couples. So, if you don't like this, you better hold back until then.
