[RL] Ondarion Spawns Way Too Many Townies

So, I played on several households in Ondarion for a period of roughly three in-game weeks. In that time, the game had generated a whopping 113 Townies across 102 households. And that was just from playing entirely on residential lots. I didn't even visit any bars or lounges or any of the other venues that tend to dump truckloads of new Townies into the game.

It took several minutes to delete them all, and until they fix this, I'll have to be doing this fairly regularly.

Townies who actually serve a purpose (like vendors) I can understand. But you only need a few of those at the most. We certainly don't need a legion of unemployed townie losers (all of whom look as though they got dressed in the dark) roaming the worlds.

And do all the randomly generated Townie women have to have hairy arms? Why do I have to do all the waxing?

    Ondarion vendors are bugged. They will lose their jobs as vendors (under circumstances I haven't yet identified) and become unemployed. The game will then create new vendors to replace them, wash, rinse, repeat.

    I noted on another topic that I created that Ondarion seems to endlessly dump townie NPCs into the game for no discernable reason. This is at least one reason why.  Because the game keeps "hiring and firing" vendors.

    This appears to be the same issue that occurs with the base game Bar Regular "job" (which, to my knowledge, still persists).

    Yes, I have noticed this behavior with Bar Regulars and Roommate's Partner sims. They lose their NPC job every 24 hours and are replaced with another sim, endlessly.

    It feels like the game is generating an excessive amount  of townies in the neighborhoods in innisgreen. Seems consistent between all three neighborhoods. It's like 10-15 new townies at least after spending any amount of time in any of them, mostly fairies and plantsims. on windows pc, no mods no cc.  not even sure if it's a bug or intentional but it is too much. really really wish we could limit townie generation outside of assigned roles.

  • I have created a new save and have my household settle down in 17 Bright Cliff in Oberon. There is currently A Royal Welcome event happening, with Ekene Ananou, Adekoya and Grand Duchess Jawara Darong as the neighbors that visited. Before the event started Akachi entered the apartment and started wandering around, and now is idling in the bathroom just staring into space because they wanted to look at a plant that was in there?? And now Tybalt has entered the residence to use the mirror to practice storytelling...
    I am unable to kick either out of the residence because they aren't considered visitors or guest 🙃
