Hi BadMinte
is this happening with or without mods ?
Do you have any LastException/LastCrash files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post
Thanks for the quick reply.
I don't have any mods installed.
The error itself was intermittent, it didn't happen since that time. I browsed through my existing crash files, and I can't seem to find one from the relevant time period.
Regardless my save and local issues, I think the logic itself is faulty, Save & Quit should cancel the quit part if the save was unsuccessful.

So the error code only happened once and it's not a regular thing that needs troubleshooting ?
Your report is about the fact that the game still quit although it couldn't save ?
I would generally recommend to save first and then quit instead of doing both at the same time.

Yes, hence the title.
Well, naturally, I can do it in two steps, and I do it now religiously, but it would be a good idea to fix this behaviour in any case.
