I like the idea of adding a new career branch to basegame careers. The ice-skating branch with Seasons sounds nice. Some basegame careers are very generic and adding new branches to them sound more logic to me than adding entirely separate new careers that are too similar.
For example, it could be done too for the criminal career with the Get To Work pack: adding a burglar branch. With the option to work from home or go to work through a rabbit hole. Perhaps with missions that take the Sim to another lot (like with the doctor and the detective careers) Or perhaps the Sim can pick missions from a list like with some other jobs I forgot.
Yes, the criminal career especially is quit boring. I'm not sure why sims can't lockpick and steal items if they are in the criminal career.
