I was thinking how we need better abilities for mermaids but we won't get cause pack refreshes aren't a thing anymore. We should get something that allows us to have better powers related to the water in general like manipulating solid, liquid and gaseous water (this could include some blood bending and frozing sims' body and blood too.)
So why not having something similar to Moana? Having the sea to be our friend and help us. This could be gained after helping the sea keep healthy and keeping its creatures alive. Like what we have in Island Living but this time it could be specifically with the underwater, like the Great Barrier Reef for example.
We could even have a sea deity like we had Mother Nature with Enchanted by Nature to gain this ability through a secret skill or bonus trait that could be applied to mermaids and other sims too.
