Sims 4 What I want to see next
I love the sims 4 and play on both PC and Ps5. I’m so happy we got infants but they are still a bit glitchy, especially when you have twins, your adult sim always stands there and asks them what’s wrong or if they’re okay rather than actually helping them. I always end up turning autonomy off so they actually listen and even then, they don’t always. So a fix to that would be great.
Now there is many things I would love to be added to the sims 4 for all versions (PC/consoles I mean).
I would love a pre-teen life stage, I know this is a popular option, the jump from child to teen is just so big, you miss a lot. They could have a first crush, be scared about growing up, have friendships be fizzled out as they go to high school as well.
I also think a game pack or another type of pack should be made for the child stage so there’s more about them. I think a go to middle school like high school would be amazing. Making your first friends and having cute interactions with kids and teachers. And bullies are real so sims 4 should have them in schools. Speaking of schools, I would love a go to daycare with the toddlers option. It could work if you have get to work but it would be nice to see them learn skills and play with other toddlers.
Fairies would be a great new occult sim and maybe at the same time an update to the mermaids.
I would also love to see more representation for everyone, for example, wheelchairs, blind sims, Down syndrome etc.
Anniversaries for couple and a date night option in the social event list.
It would also be great to add a foster care pack. So a sim can foster children from baby-teen. It the parent doesn’t want their child back, the sim would also have the option to adopt further down the line but it would be possible for the biological family to visit if wanted and to want their child back too.
More stuff when it comes to birth. Some of the stuff from the realistic childbirth mod is actually really nice and wouldn’t be hard to add. Like staying in the hospital for a few days and having ultrasounds and find out the gender if wanted.
More careers! I would love to see more careers you can go to with the sim, more part-time jobs, and some full time stay at home jobs, so you never have to leave the kids but still have a job. I also think there should be a work experience option so they can go to a job and get experience/skills but they don’t earn money.
I would also love to be able to control pets to a certain extend, like we can move them around and get them to practice stuff but not too much control so we can’t stop them from running away, that should still be the pets choice if they’re not being looked after.
More hair colours please, and being able to merge some colours rather than have the two colours decided, I want to be able to pick like black or brown and put a colour with it rather than the game automatically choosing like blond and pink! More choice please.
