Sims Pack Idea (Nordic Living)
Hi! I have an idea for a game pack. As a nordic girl, i dont feel like there’s much of our culture in the game, so I though about some things that could be added to the game( as a pack or maybe a free update). Here’s the list:
- Food! I would love to see some nordic food’s like salmon soup, semla, karelian pies, crispbread, ryebread, gravlax. And I also thought it could be funny if the street markets would sell surstromming, and there would be a negative buff to surrounding sims, and maybe it could cause some sims to throw up from the smell.
- A world based on a swedish village, the cute iconic red houses, surrounded by a forest with a lake you could swim in.
-Some new skills like foraging for mushrooms or berries in the forest. Maybe you could also have some soft of timber/wood related skill, where you could cut down trees, get wood and use that as an ingredient when using the workbench, or you could put the wood logs to a fireplace to add realism. Or maybe we could even have a wood sauna you would have to heat up before using. Oh, and Also sledding! Now that we have horses and dogs, it could be nice to have some crosspack content for us, you could use the sled to go sledding with your dog/horse, and if you dont have these pack’s the sled could be a decoration, or it could work as a bench, children could play in it, or you could full it with gifts (if you have seasons).
- Maybe some gnomes would be nice! These could randomly spawn in the sauna (saunatonttu) or the forest. They would mind their own business but if interacted with they could maybe give you some info where to find the best berries/mushrooms or some other words of wisdom. They would get mad if you talk too much in the sauna.
-New berries and mushrooms! Maybe cloudberries and lingonberries, and Also chantatelles and some poisonous ones too, you would have to blach these in order for them to be edible (Also a new death: eating poison mushroom)
- Moose! Maybe in the forest you could see a moose, they would mostly just mind their business,but if you went swimming in the lake there would be a random chance that the moose would spawn in the middle of the lake, scaring the swimming sim and getting a scared buff like ”who knew moose could swim”
But yeah, i could think of more but i think this is already a lot.I hope even some of these ideas end up in a pack or update.
