I so totally agree with you. Yes, please! If you have a staircase nestled against a wall, for instance, you don't need two rails, not in the traditional sense. We should also have the option to pin a single rail on a wall, such as I have in my RL house. And just when do you suppose we'll get spiral staircases? And not just the tightly coiled type?
