Subject: Calendar Birthdays and Height Customization
I would like to suggest an update to the The Sims 4 base game to improve the realism of Sim life cycles. First, I propose implementing a set birthday system in Create-A-Sim (CAS). Instead of just an aging bar, it would be incredibly immersive to assign a specific date of birth that appears on a Sim's birth certificate. This would allow players to track the exact age of their Sims, such as knowing exactly how many weeks a newborn has been in the world before they transition to an infant. Also for the age of each Sims, it would be good if there is an item for each Sims for their ages because teenagers wouldn't play dolls with infants/ toddlers. Adults would, but elders won't. Additionally, I suggest adding a height slider or height presets in CAS. Since height varies so much in real life, being able to adjust this would add a much-needed layer of individuality to our Sims. I understand these changes involve complex animations and systems, but they would be a monumental improvement to the core gameplay experience for everyone.
