other things i would love to see as a disabled simmer myself would include:
more realistic moodlets for allowing your character to pee themselves (in real life this wouldnt just leave you embarrassed, but wet) the game misses the accountability of not cleaning your sim off after a bladder malfunction, id say after the "very embarrassed" moodlet (that lasts four hours), your character should start to get a rash! Baby sims get diaper rash, adult sims sitting in pee clothes for more than 4 hours should too (adds a bit of realism id love to see)
people often talk about noticable disabilities but i would love if a Disability pack
I would prefer to call it the "Managing Life" pack because it doesnt just add disability but real consequences to:
bladder malfunction/allowing your sim to woohoo with too many random sims: they should get TMW (too much woohoo! aliment) they could use a phone to call a specialist or go to the hospital for treatment!
sims who NAP: already get the moodlet for "fragmented sleep" but we forget the REAL LIFE consequences of allowing this to happen, bodies dont hit rem sleep on naps alone, in real life, after only taking naps till awake would cause a brain lag: Moodlet: static brain- from sim only taking naps to fill their energy bar, -50% skill gain for 2 hours and their sleep bar drops slightly quicker when doing physical activity the next day, which is realistic if you don't reach rem sleep (nothing seems to be clicking right now-from poor sleep quality).
sims who pass out: cheerfull sims who passed out get a dazed moodlet for 4 hours (from passing out) for fussy/irritable sims: moodlet: angry (+3) for 4 hours (everything is annoying! from passing out) this would not only be true to the person but its realistic to what happens after waking up from forced system shutdown!
mental/ neurodivergent/ disability extra core identity (separate from core personality and career dreams) i call it: life wiring or biological profile which allows you to choose your sims disability in CAS:
neurodivergent- submenu- adhd/autism/Sensory Processing disorder (sims might experience emotional outburts more frequently, non party animal neurodivergent sims could get a moodlet for too much sounds in one room like many sims talking a tv playing and music going could cause a sensory overload moodlet!) (interoception issues-- your character need bars are greyed out till about 20%- when it starts to become an emergency! click on your sim to have them check selves because sometimes adhd/autistic people have to think about it or we don't know we need to pee till you're running to the toilet!) Mental health: submenu- Anxiety, depression (these sims might struggle with their confidence or are more likely to be sad longer from a friendly sim passing away. they can call a therapist or doctor on the phone for medicine or to talk when sad or stressed- helps with decreasing time on the sad/anxious moodlet) long term Physical Disability: submenu- Chronic pain/ fatigue, (-50% skill gain on exersize and causes a pained moodlet for hours after) mobility impairment/paralysis (wheelchairs are a big must, surprised they're not already added! its 2026 people), amputation/limb difference (missing arm or leg, may have prosthetic, some adult sims may need help with tasks from other able-bodied sims!)
i LOVE sims and love the dollhouse aspect but would love to see these in an upcoming pack, but i would love some realism based on the struggles of managing these disabilities and how they change how your needs are affected. This could actually help others see the struggles others face EA!
