Was there no way to identify this issue would happen? I may be wrong but I feel like if playtesters were used to test out updates before theyre fully released we wouldnt have issues like this happen ...

They released an update with another paywall and it broke everyone’s game…. this game franchise is going into the dirt.
It is insane of them to release this update which genuinely just breaks the game, to add a paywall for console players to access CC at the expense of their (majority) PC users. Not even just the fact that mods and CC are down, it's the fact that the update actually BROKE the game. Like I can't even control my sims anymore or edit them in CAS at all. It won't even allow me to use cheats or bb.
