Or in a group event. It definitely feels more single-player with your suggestion, which of course is how most of us like to play. 😉

@EowynCarter , good idea! While October is a great time to do this event, players often have real life get in the way of things they would like to do. 😔 Many of us either have school or have chronic illnesses that can get in the way of how often or even when we would like to play. I myself have a chronic illness and there have been times that I was too sick to play the Sims for long periods, or because I was recovering from surgery. I know there are many others here with similar problems!!! And I can only imagine trying to complete an event like this when I was in school😓 ... I'm sure there are people who would love to focus on this event but have a big test or project due, or who are grounded and not allowed to play games until they aren't grounded anymore, so I feel for all those who might not be able to complete the event for these reasons!
I'd like to have it all completed in one go. I'm playing it with a specific household and waiting for week 3 to begin. It's a little frustrating I must admit. Week 2 began as I was with a different household so the newsletter arrived to the wrong Sims! I was like noooooo! But luckily it arrived in the mail box when I switched to the right Sim to continue the challenge.
I actually think they should be added with scenarios instead. Like a super scenario with bigger rewards. You could have categories of scenarios to choose from with these types of quests at the top, and a few different ones to choose from as I wouldn't usually pick a Grim challenge. Totally optional and there anytime you want a bigger challenge.
I know a couple of Simmers missing out completely right now. One just starting Uni and leaving home to move into student accommodation and one with a shift job who is also a family carer when she gets home.
I do like the challenge idea though but I'd like them better with a format change. I can see they are evolving, like with the changes to rewards themselves and I can see the player feedback is being considered.

@simsplayer818 , yes, it is hard to keep up when life gets in the way. from school , to moving, to taking care of aging parents, anything can prevent us from playing even though we really would rather be playing. I was also thinking that this could have been like a Mega Scenario, much like you mentioned! 🥰
