Time to Celebrate A Bug Report Win

So, I today I got a badge for reporting 150 bugs. I'm excited by turned off at the same time. Out of all the bugs I reported, none of them have been fixed. Only one is scheduled to be fixed in an upcoming patch. There is a 0.67% chance that one of my bug reports will be fixed. Once that bug is fixed, I think another celebration will be in order. This is the bug that is pending to be fixed. I'm actually shocked I found so many when I don't even own all the packs. I never use mods so the bugs I reported cant' be blamed on mods. When people say they never experience bugs in their game and they have all the packs, they're gaslighting you or using a ton of mods. If you look at over the 4k bugs reported on the bug reports forum, you can see many of them have hundreds of upvotes.

I have a bug reporting process I created to make it easier to report bugs. Before, it was a complicated process where I would try to replicate the bug, test, and try to get screenshots and videos.

My Bug Reporting Processing in 2026

  1. Discover a potential bug
  2. Create a bug report template in AI
  3. Describe the bug with as many details as possible to the AI and have the AI generate a report based on the template
  4. Read the report for accuracy and correct any inaccurate statement
  5. Use the template to report the bug to EA.

  • It is shameful when bugs are reported by those not using CC/Mods, and they just lie their awaiting additional reports.

I sometimes wonder what is the problem the fact people seek out mod fixes instead of reported/upvoting. Or waste time reporting on bugs caused by broken mods X /

I found a new "bug" yesterday I almost reported it but because it is a cheat that is just not enabled (or enabled for MAC but not PC and I do not know about console)... I felt it would never get the upvotes to even try (as I have bug reports with the actual code showing why it is not working with hardly any upvotes and awaiting additional reports)... and that doesn't sit well with me, and I created a mod/tuned file fix.

I think that an alternate bug reporting method needs to be implemented. With the current bug reporting. Maybe get a sample selection of players who are willing to test and report. Those with and without mods/cc.

I thought we had a program for "lab" play testing? Or is this just for new EA games?
