Sorry for bumping up the old thread, but I now understand why the game needs to let "Too many "Lovestruck" couples everywhere!"
This is the result after using the mod to disable couples invading lots to gaze at the clouds/stars for around one week in-game.
I found the reason when I went to play Pancakes Family to test the venue. Then I got the notification about a very unsatisfied romantic relationship. Both of them are sad. I opened the profile and found "Very Unsatisfied" on both sides.
At first, I wanted to praise the game that they add this to existing relationships related to their plots. I'm curious about how they calculate and choose what level of satisfaction to them.
But when I went to check other households, EVERY COUPLE was "Very Unsatisfied"!
Is it the starting point? To make sure, I started a new save and went to check Pancakes. The result of the first day is this.
So, the start point is fine. But seems that if they don't have romantic interaction for a long time, the score will drop.
Is it the reason that the game is designed to bring NPC couples invading everywhere?
And is it better to "disable the romantic progression" of unplayed couples?
-----
I don't know what is a better choice, allowing couples to appear to fix the satisfaction autonomically, or still disabling it. Fortunately, these unsatisfied couples didn't do drama things on the community lots right now. Or because I disable "Autonomous Mean" so they are still in peace.
I want to say again that my reason for using mods isn't to make things spicier but to "control" the unacceptable chaos from unwell game design.
I guess their romantic satisfaction decays over time.
The reason why the game spawns so many lovestruck couples is because the pack adds a new npc job "SituationJob: situationJob_EP16NPC_VenueDate" with the pack that spawns them on all lots.
Incredibly wasteful and pointless mechanic imo.

logionXThat's right. And I still don't see the mod to disable this decay as other things. Ex. normal relationship decay can be paused by MCCC and some mods already. But I understand that it's new and needs more time for the modder to find the way.
I also know that new NPC job you mentioned. I found it from the "Show Sim Info" mod. Or even without mod, we can notice them easily if you visit some exotic lot ex. Sulani.
Right now, I can't find the mod to disable completely. LMS mod is the most effective one but it still lets couples go to the park and beach (by modder purposes).
Game supporters still treat this as a "feature" and our complaints as "feedback", not a bug. So I don't expect much for fixing. Just wait modders or try to manage my gameplay to live with it.
(I can't disable this pack, I already use many items of this EP. 😂)

You can maybe modify littlemssam's mod (LittleMsSam_RSM_EP_L_LessNPCDatesOnVenues) to reduce the amount to 0 in sims4studio. That's what I will do if I will ever enable the pack again.
Maybe you can remove the entries with the venues in the tuning and maybe that will never spawn them.
Feedback should be just as valid as bug fixing if the design is disruptive to normal gameplay. Imagine if a pack added I dunno... a new job role called grim reaper fans or something spawning on every lot with the new upcoming pack and it spawns 8 people in grim reaper outfits on every lot. That's exactly the same as this one, only they are lovestruck couples.
I'm surprised that the coding for this NPC job has not been taken more seriously, I have never seen a pack adding 8 NPC jobs that spawns on all lots before (and for good reason) I guess simmers have more patience playing this game than I will ever have.

I haven't tried modifying the mod before but I have sims4studio already (just have to check the latest update).
I will try to start looking at the case when I have more free time (maybe next week). It will be a good starting point for me as this mod wouldn't be too complex. It would be alright if it's just about to change the number.
BTW, I'm now scared that the new Grim pack will make NPCs break the community lot too. But just have to wait and see when the game is available. This time I will not use this EP until I know almost the mechanics of NPC spawning, etc.
About patience, I'm the one who can't stand for it. I stopped playing until some mods made it acceptable to play. Then I visited the Sulani's beach and ...ahhhhhhh. (I may try changing them all to swimsuit to fix the vibe)
