i love your ideas!! heavily agree on the jail thing too cause sims feels like it doesn't have any consequences at all, there could be something like karma so bad things and bad people will happen when you're being bad but if you're kind, more positive things will happen and sims react positively on you instead of insulting and treating you bad (cause you were bad and evil)
Thanks! And especially with ageing in the sims, it could feel like quite a while too if how long a sim is in jail depends on the crime. Days is pretty long in sim time, they could come out at a later age group. They could sometimes still get a pop up of choices to make in jail, a chance to shorten their sentence or try to escape and risk a longer sentence.
And other sims could visit the prisoner, that too would be a rabbit hole thing though. Helps boost the relationship since sims in prison can't be reached by phone obviously. It would add so much material for dramatic stories! Like maybe you let their spouse not visit them ever during a long sentence and have an affair with someone else. Or visit a lot AND have an affair. Or maybe even try to break them out of jail and risk getting put there themselves as well.
I don't think it would be needed to have stuff like sims being wanted and looked for if they escape from jail though, that would get too complicated and you can always play that a bit by having them change their appearance, not leave the house a while, etc. The getting caught risk would already be there in the escape attempt after all.
