Use the “employees only” business feature for other retail lots

Can we please have the “for employees only” feature that came with Business and Hobbies available for other retail lots such as restaurants and shops?

On restaurant lots and retail shops, if my sims is not the lot owner, I can’t block the doors and, by consequence, sims from entering employee areas and using its objects.

I would like to be able to choose the room “option” when building the lot, please.
