Water radiators and fire

The radiators in the sims, those iron ones with pipes going down to the floor, they are water radiators, hence why they have a pipe going downwards. Water radiators don't catch fire normally as only warm water is flowing inside of them. But in the sims4 they do, and a lot. They set fire to everything around them unless upgraded fire safe. What kind of bulls**t is this? Why do you pretend that water radiators catch fire? Electric radiators can, yes and also oil radiators but they look differently and have no water pipe going downwards or sideways (irl the pipes connect the radiator system with the water boiler). The fire safe upgrade also takes forever to do, hours in fact, even if the sim has maxed out handiness skill.

Over all there are far too much breakage, fires and upgrade needs of appliances . It's on a level which makes the game boring. Some sims do nothing but upgrading appliances or you just give up as a player and constantly replace all things that break instead. But of course that costs a lot of simoleons for your sims. Please stop making water radiators catch fire at all. You can apply that side effect to your portable electric heater if placed near textiles, which is more realistic. Read up on how different radiator types function and look like to make this more realistic. Water radiators are connected to a boiler which lasts maybe 20 to 30 years irl and the radiators can leak water, which you can make them do but that is extremely rare and should be rare in the sims too. I have water radiators so I'm not talking out of the blue.

Laundry machines, taps, toilets, ovens and tumble driers etc, shouldn't break or catch fire more than maybe once in a sims whole lifetime. How often do you mend or upgrade appliances at home irl? It's hopefully not happening as often as in the game. It's not fun guys, it really isn't. Just irritating. Please improve this.

Also, I must add that water radiators don't have any circuit bords or data cards inside which can be upgraded. They are simply not upgraded at all. They are only a container for warm water.  So this whole thing with upgrading them is just unrealistic. Just as unrealistic as if we would start to dry our clothes in the fridge. We don't do that irl, right. So the fridges are realistic in Sims4 but not the radiators of some reason.
