What I think would be the best approach to adding cars.

People have kept asking for it, Sims 2 added it in an early expansion, Sims 3 had it in the base game. Even Sims 1 had the carpools which where a pretty fun indication of career advancement. Especial...

Going by the recent surveys cars will most likely happen. They had 3 car packs listed in the survey.

Indeed, and I think it would be really weird if mobile homes or other such things would be added before regular cars. It feels like cars are the requirement, but a car focused pack could add mobile homes too.
