Why did the sims take away the downloads and followers count in the gallery?

There are several ongoing bugs related to the gallery, including bugs affecting favourites, followers/following and download counts. Most of them go all the way back to the gallery maintenance that was done last June.

Given that it's been so long since the maintenance disaster, I don't know whether EA even considers gallery bugs and issues priorities anymore; they seem to have been abandoned. For example, they originally said the newsfeed would come back, but it hasn't. 

However, I hear there's a problem with the gallery that affects Lovestruck (gallery sims not appearing in the dating app), and I assume that Lovestruck bugs are top priority right now because it's a new pack that they want to sell, so maybe this means that the older gallery bugs will finally get some attention again. Who really knows, though?

I heard some people say that they appear but if they are wearing CC or you're missing some packs, the sims will be naked or partially dressed/undressed depending on how you see it. 😁  I didn't try the dating application yet, cause the sim I was playing replied to a meeting request from townie and they had such amazing compatibility that they became a couple. I will have to play Don Lothario to really try out the dating app. 😊

I'm having an issue with sims that I create and share with the gallery being tagged with CC even if they don't have CC...some of them have CC but most of them don't. So it's kind of annoying. Hopefully it will all get fixed soon!

Oh yeah the news feed was really good too, but yeah hopfully it will eventually be fixed. 😭

Why didn't they leave it alone! I've heard so many stories about the constant accusations of cheating and what not. I've been a member for years and just want my gallery to work correctly. If they don't think of it as a priority anymore, which is true, they don't, then be honest and tell us "What you have is what you will have from now on." Then we can decide what to do. Personally, I have invested so much time and money, it makes me sick to think a main feature of my game will not be fixed. There are many others who feel the same way. Last Help Ticket I submitted about it, I got the answer, No fix at this time. So goes to show you, they are more interested in putting out new content than fixing what they have.
