“Item Cannot Be Sold or Deleted” Glitch

Hi everyone! I am playing with only base game, cottage living and get to work. Any food I make is tagged with the like “Item cannot be sold or deleted” in red when in inventory and displays. I’m trying to run a bakery, so being unable to sell my food products is aggravating. All the solutions I see online are on how to delete these items but I want to find away to allow them to be sold. They are not spoiled or eaten in any way. I have repaired my game and reset the objects but neither have worked. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Are you on a retail lot? And did you set it for sale, open the store, then interact with customers until they’re ready to be rung up?

    Food I cook all has the same tag, but it has nothing to do with retail and still sells in a retail store.

    When I put the items in a display case the same glitch comes up and the items are never bought 🥲

    That just means you can’t sell it directly out of your inventory by drag and drop. Place it on a shelf on your retail lot, set it for sale, and open the store. The tag doesn’t stop customers from buying it.
