Sim cancel/skip queued actions

I am having the same problem, commands just cancel and the sims themselves are unresponsive.  They may take two steps, or move if I use the "go here" command, but they will not engage in any activity.

I do not use mods.  Any cc I have is old cc that has been used frequently over the years without any issues.  The only thing disabling cc did was make the entire population bald and wearing underwear, there were still issues playing (one sim seems playable, the other adult and toddler are still unplayable.)

Playing on Windows PC.  It's a 2-year old gaming PC that has no issues running the game.

I have repaired game via EA games app, have tried resetting sims themselves by both shift+click and entering ResetSim command, have tried traveling to other lots and worlds and then returning home, and have tried restarting the game (over and over for days now.)  Still unable to play.  

I have been experiencing this as well. I just witnessed Bob Pancakes skip the toilet before using the shower.  I have had sims skip cleaning up dishes and skill building tasks. It seems to happen now and again for me. I am playing on PC, I only have the base game installed and I do not have any CC or mods installed/downloaded.

Could everyone please provide the information asked. 

Same. I've repaired my game and all my actions keep cancelling. Plus my paths randomly disappeared!

I am also experiencing this. Every action I give gets cancelled. It's so frustrating. 

I can't speak for OP, but I'm experiencing these as well. I'm on PC and have removed my mods and repaired my game. I even created a whole new save for my 100 Baby Challenge and fear I'll have to wait to play until the game is fixed again. I've never had a patch or update mess up my game like this before :( In fact, the bit about children not doing their homework...my childrens homework keeps disappearing so I buy more from the bookshelf and it's a rinse and repeat action...everyday their homework disappears, I re-buy it, etc. etc. These aren't even my only problems. I've been going into different threads to report the others (all photos turning black, paintings turning white, inventory completely disappearing)

Could you please provide the following information

-  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
-  What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
