Accidentally deleting indoor stairs & can't place it back to its original place

I accidentally deleting the indoor stair without realizing it and saved the game already. I have tried rotating the position but can't place it back to its original place. Please help :( I always hav...

It is maddening! What i do is knock out a few walls. For somee reason if you try to put it exactly back you can’t. Also, take the structures out upstairs like if you had a railing or wall. You should be able to set it all roght then
