Accidentaly removed an apartment door which isn't mine

So recently i accidentally removed a door from a different apartment via MC Command Center. I can't seem to be able to get it back in any way, I've tried "restrictbuildbuyinbuildings off" and "bb.enablefreebuild" along with "testingcheats". I even tried replacing the apartment from a brand new one from my gallery and that didn't work either. Is there any way to bypass the "Cannot make changes outside the owned area" restriction or is my savefile useless now? (I also can't sleep with my sims due to it being noisy despite the door being non-existent)

  • Returning to the Main Menu WITHOUT saving is the easiest way to fix things like this. If it's too late for that, try to Recover an earlier save. You do that from the Main Menu by choosing Load, selecting the desired save if it isn't the first one, then clicking the small button next to Delete. Unfortunately, this is limited to 5 backup saves, so iit might be too late already.

Since you use mods, try adding Twisted Mexi's T.O.O.L. mod.  You might be able to put the door back using that mod.  I haven't used T.O.O.L. so I'm not sure it will work but it's the only thing I know of that might help you.  Otherwise, if you can't restore it, you'll have to start a new save.

You can find a link to it on this page:  [INFORMATION] Common Game Fixing Mods - Hero Approved - Answer HQ (ea.com).  Just scroll down until you see the link and follow it.

    Hope this helps

  • Does the T.O.O.L mod make the door just like it was or is it just there for texture? I'm fine with the door just being there but now that the door is removed none of my sims can go to sleep, I know it will pass after some time but can i do it right away by clicking the door or via MCCC?

Oh, that might actually fix it! I stopped playing pretty much as soon as i deleted the door so I'm going to try this. Thanks!
