Active lot is not interactable

Since today's update I can load into the game, but in both live and build/buy modes the active lot is not interactable. When trying to click on Sims or objects nothing happens at all, when trying to ...

    HI @FreyaFettuccine 

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Repair the game
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. Be aware that your claimed event rewards will also be gone for the time being but you will get them back with your other things.
    • Start a new save game
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

Hi! Having the same issue. Following your steps solved the issue, but how do I restore my old saves etc?

Copy them from the old folder (the one you renamed or moved) to the new one. Don't copy the folders themselves, just the files. You can do that for Saves, Tray, Screenshots, and Movies. Also copy the file called UserSetting.ini if you did the rewards event earlier this year. Don't copy mods until after you check them in Broken/Updated Mods & CC .
