Actor Sim Won’t Accept Gigs

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 1.62.69.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions, Dine Out, Realm of Magic, Vampires, Outdoor Retreat, Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Laundry Day
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In the actor career (level 8), in the Well Suited Talent Agency, try to select a gig, Sim calls but gig does not pop up in career window
What happens when the bug occurs? The Sim calls on the phone, but no gig appears in the career window
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the gig information popping up in the career window
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes

I’m aware of the huge bug occurring for everyone where the actor does not go to their gigs. I have it too and I’ve been using the workaround of not having any loading screens until they finish the gig. However, now after coming back from a vacation in Granite Falls, my actor sim has another bug. He can’t seem to accept any gigs. He has the perk that lets him skip auditions as well. But no matter what gig I select, he won’t accept it. At first I could get some to work, but after canceling them and testing different gigs over and over, it seems to be broken entirely. I’ve tried resetting the sim, quitting the career and rejoining the career, and nothing seems to permanently fix it. Why is the actor career so broken?

This is happening for me, only on some gigs, skill level is irrelevant. I have never had any mods.

I just started having this problem. I think the last time I played with the acting career was a few months ago and it was working fine. I’m playing in a different save now and my sim can accept commercial gigs but not TV gigs. He’s only level 4 in the career so I don’t have access to other gig types. When I click on the check open auditions button and the list pops up, I choose a TV gig (I’ve tried different ones and none of them worked), but nothing appears in the career tab for the gig. Clicking on the check auditions button again does nothing, I have to use the phone to cancel gig and only then can I try again.
