Ha! Today all is well. But I've been noticing these sentiments. Some of my families have none at all for each other and are getting along just great. I don't think they change anything at all. I'm just going to let this ride out for a few days and see what happens. Everyone is perfectly happy without them. I did get a hurt sentiment once with my son and father-in-law, but I removed it. Now Father-in-Law can't stop thinking about son-on. Law all the time! :/. It's just another piece of coding thrown into the works to keep us all on our toes and keep us interested. I'll see what happens now there are hardly any sentiments going on and will report back. btw. Merry Christmas my friends and stay safe during these difficult times. I must admit I started playing The Sims to keep me occupied during lockdown, or dare I say Locke Down... I'm a Lost fan and have the whole of Sulani island filled with Lost characters. My toddler sim was asked by his mother if he wanted to play. The angelic trait was picked for this toddler. He decided he wanted to be disobedient and not want to play, then they played and now a sim week later he still feels hurt. There's a problem with the sentiments system that some of the Pros around here don't seem to get. I've been reading up on them and it's absolutely stupid that not wanting to play can make two sims feel so butthurt about each other for 7 sim days. All the positive interactions and the toddler still isn't getting over it.
I just want sentiments turned off. This is ridiculous.

Hey all! All codes working fine for me and if you want them to stick around a bit longer (saves a lot of time) I found a mod to make them last longer. So far so good. Only had it a day but all seems well and stable. No issues for me. Hope this helps some more. Edit-mod link removed, please don't add them on AHQ
