@jentasticC Well, as it's an NPC it will fade in time and things should be back to normal between them. If your teenager has good enough traits, like manners and sincere, he can maybe make an apology, will be more likely accepted, then maybe they can chat and become best friends. It's all about manners, skills and diplomacy. if you sims are high enough with these skills/traits, they'll be more successful. Hope this helps 🙂
