Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I'm trying to complete all the Distinguished degrees, I've currently completed 2. I noticed when I enrolled for the second degree, even though the text told me it would require 8 credits, it actually required the full 12 credits. I thought it might have just been a one-off glitch or bug, as I do have mods. So I shrugged it off, and did all three weeks.

When the time for the 3rd degree came around, I enrolled and it once again told me it would require 8 credits, but once confirmed and enrolled, showed I required 12. So I rolled back to a prior save, removed my mods, repaired my game 2x, and tried again. This is when I captured my screenshots.

The text clearly (in bold) states I need 8 credits to graduate, but again, once enrolled it shows I require 12.

  • @morphinominaI see no bug. Your Sim started with 4 course credits already (according to 3rd pic) leaving them with only 8 credits missing.

    I tested this and for me it said she had to complete 9 of them it does say in the class schedule that it's out of 12 but she started with 3 already completed. I see for you it's also 4 already completed ?

    That would leave me with 9 to do. Same for you unless that picture was taken after you already did 4.

    @crinrict That's because your sim didn't recieve any distinguished degree yet (in this case you get just 3 credits to begin with)

    @kusurusu Thought I'd done a distinguished one with this Sim as well .. maybe I didn't .. can't remember.

    Principle stays the same :D
  • It also said 4/12 when I started my second degree, and when she finished that first term (4 A+s) she still had 4/12, and I had to do three full terms. However, I did play through for this third degree, and after the first term (4 A+s again) it did say 8/12. So that second degree may have been a one-off glitch like I originally thought.

    Thank you for your time!
