Aging down a SIM
I go by Lilith131367 and am from Ohio, I have a question: one of my SIMS accidentally blew the birthday cake candles and aged up to young adult, thereby skipping his teens and I want to age him back...
@Lilith131367 Hi! May I suggest you try the cas.fulleditmode cheat again? I just tried it in my test save and I was able to change a young adult sim to teen. I wonder if it's possible you had a typo in your cheat the first time. That has happened to me on occasion. When you use that full edit mode cheat, you should be able to change everything about your sim, except for certain age restricted relationships; i.e. you can't set a parent relationship with a sim of the same age.
How do I exactly do that cheat on my sims game? I know control+shift+c but how do I make the other parts work?
@simelasakoglou Hi! When you press control+shift+c that opens the console panel in the upper left. In the console type testingcheats on (or copy and paste that) and type enter. If that works, you get a message saying "Cheats are enabled." Then type (or copy / paste) cas.fulleditmode and type enter, but for that one you will not see a message. After that, press shift and left click the sim you want to change and select Modify in CAS. When CAS opens, select the sim you want to change if they're not already selected. At that point, you can just click on any of the age options to change them. I don't know what that panel is called but it looks like this.
Here I could change this young adult sim to any other age as long as there is no parent relationship conflict; meaning parent sims must be older than their child sims and such. If these options are greyed out and not available, then the cheat didn't take and you would need to exit CAS and enter the cas.fulleditmode cheat into the console again.
