[ARCHIVED] Gallery Connection Troubleshooting/ Status: Online

This thread is to inform you of the current status of the gallery and also to give you some tips you can try if you can't access the gallery although it's supposed to be online. If you can't solve...

@crinrict not really, because it says that there are no results or something like that.

    Here is the results of pinging my internet server, I don't really know what the server is for the sims 4 though. 😞

    @crinrict yeah that's the one I don't know the web address of, because when I try to put the that in it always gives an error message.

    @Sims4Fan1983 And what's the error you're getting, the actual error mesage ? That might be an indication why it's not working.

    @Sims4Fan1983 OK. so the issue for you is that your computer can't reach the server which is why the gallery doesn't work,

    What country are you living in ?

    @crinrict the US which is strange because I thought that the EA headquarters was in California.

    @Sims4Fan1983 You did try a hotspot with your mobile, right ? Do you have same provider for both ? Maybe you can try at a friends house (if at all possible where you are)

    @crinrict I don't really have any friends that I can try to connect right now, and yes I did try my mobile Hotspot

    @crinrict yeah they should be, I only use xfininity wifi.

    @Sims4Fan1983 Maybe it's something your provider is blocking then. Really hard to tell.

    @Sims4Fan1983 Maybe contact your provider ? I really don't know at this point but all the info def helps EA pinpoint the issue

    @crinrictOkay, but I'm thinking that it might also be because my computer desk is right next to the wall that I share with my neighbor, because I live in a townhouse.

    Plus I've had my router for a few years now, so it might be because it's old but idk, and because I was able to connect to the gallery before last year.
