Windows to Mac

My Sims4 packs show as owned in-game but cannot download them on Mac. Originally bought on Windows. Need help syncing. :)

  • Where did you buy them? The Steam version of Sims is Windows only, while packs bought on the EA App/Origin should transfer.

  • I can see that the packs are marked as Windows-only in my library, but they also show as owned in-game. Since I’ve already paid for them, is there any way EA can grant Mac access or sync them to my account? It seems odd that I own them but can’t download them on Mac.

Thanks for your reply. The packs do show as owned in-game, so they are linked to my EA account. Could an EA advisor check my account and confirm if they are tied to Steam or EA, and if anything can be done to enable them on Mac?

You don’t remember where you bought them?

You could try unlinking your Steam account and see if they still show as owned:

If you play more games than Sims from EA, just beware that unlinking the Steam account unlinks everything in the Steam account. I don’t know about how other games may work.
