Attn: Game Developers - Please read.

A suggestion for the game, with the addition of Cottage Living - in conjunction with Cats & Dogs; the Veterinarian should be able to visit lots with Llamas/Cows for care. Also, if you befriend a wild Rabbit/Bird/Fox, they too should be able to go to the Vet. I think it would be almost too much to add BUT I'm going to anyway! If possible even small pets like the Turtles, Snakes, ect should be able to visit the Vet Clinic too. I love the Career In-Game and would love to see more. Over-all, this would combine the two  packs further and enrich the gameplay in my opinion. Lastly, it would be really nice to have more for the Toddlers. I think that Walkers, and Playpens would be helpful too. Or more Toddler activities/items in general really. Maybe more afterschool activities for the Children, such as Ballet/Gymnastics/Karate/Swimming/Scouting. This is by far one of my favorite franchises, and I have played The Sims since The Sims Delux (as a kid.) I absolutely adore the games. I hope these ideas will be considered and maybe later added via patch/update. Thanks for your time, in advance. 🙂

    @UnholyEuphoric , I don't know if they will do this, but I love your suggestions! 🥰  (I know @SheriGR would agree, so I"m tagging her!🤣 )

If we can't take wild animals or large animals to the vet, it would be nice if the vet made house-calls to care for those animals!

I will add though, that the only small pets we can have are the ones that came with the My First Pets Stuff Pack, which are:
    hamsters
    rats

    hedgehogs
    miniature bubalus
so there are no turtles or snakes in the game unless you have a Mod. 😉  (However I wish we could have turtles, snakes, birds, lizards, etc. as well! And if we were to ever get those, then I would hope we could have them treated by the vet.  Perhaps that is what you meant. 😊 )

I also agree with more things for kids to do after school .  Ballet, sport teams, karate, swimming would be wonderful.   But we already do have Scouting if you have the Seasons EP! 😃 (We also have a drama club if you have the Get Famous EP! 🤩 ).

Also it is nice to see someone else who played the original version of The Sims ! 🥳

Turtles you have in the pond. Just place a log click on it in live mode and allow turtles to sun there. Frogs can do the same on water lilies.

@jpkarlsen , thank you, but I know that. 😉 Those are are not small pets... those are pond decorations! (Even the ones we find in the frog logs require no care and therefore aren't' really small pets in the way that the pets from My First Pet Stuff are! )  @UnholyEuphoric specifically was talking about "small pets like the turtles and snakes".  We don't have snakes either unless you count the decorative ones that appear in Jungle Adventure which we can't interact with.  There would be no need for a vet to take care of decorations, which is what @UnholyEuphoric was talking about.

However, those that didn't know about the new pond decorations now do, thanks to you! 😊

  • I agree with you, @UnholyEuphoric & @PugLove888 ... having the ability for a vet to make a house call if you have Cats & Dogs would be fun! Maybe chickens would be able to be taken in, but, as the title says, that pack is designed for Cats & Dogs.

I expect if any co-pack features would be considered it may be to have the ability to use the pet ambrosia and wellness treats on the farm animals - which would then introduce the ability for the farm animals to get sick. Hmmm... ouch!

I assume if having a vet visit farm animals became possible it would have to be random NPC Sim-vet. I don't know, but it's a fun thought. Plus if those aspects were added to the Cats & Dogs pack I expect more farm-loving players would purchase the Cats & Dogs pack?

  • I hope we get out rabbits but the ones in cottage living are inaccurate as they roll on their backs and that is dangerous as it bunnies on their back will go into shock and it can even kill them I believe.

I also want guinea pigs but I'm scared they might be inaccurate too like they did with the bunnies. As with rabbits, guinea pigs can get spinal injuries from being on their backs and also being in a hamster ball. A lot of stuff marketed for guinea pigs in pet stores are actually very dangerous for them so I hope the developers do research on them. Guinea pigs also need a lot of horizontal space and get depressed if kept alone.

And would also love to see pet birds and reptiles for sure. I hope we get a pack with more pets and I hope they are done properly because it's upsetting how mistreated small pets are.

@UnholyEuphoric sound like a great ideal and maybe they can make it similar like Planet Zoo, I have that game also and the vet come out and check on the animals in their habitats

@LonaBoom , that is what I mentioned above by having the vet come to our houses for house-calls! 😉

@kaiwryplays , i didn't think that was typical rabbit behavior (my friend's rabbit never rolled on her back) but I didn't know it was dangerous for them!😰  But I think the developers just wanted to convey the emotion of happiness, so they chose to do what most players would be familiar with, which was dog behavior! 😅  It did get the point across to me that the rabbit in the game was very happy!
