Autonomous Digitalistic Sketchpad

Dear EA,

I love the Digitalistic Sketchpad however with a complete lack of autonomy or interaction with the item I find the easels much more fitting for the painter career path.

Also with the lack of interaction with the career and the painting Aspiration there seems to be no reason to even have it.

is there anyway to add even a little bit of autonomy with the sketchpad and a bit of fluidity to the skill/career/clubs/aspiration paths?

My idea would be to at least add the same or similar autonomy with the sketchpad as with the easels and have them pick it up, make a painting and then tend to whatever else may be with their autonomy.  Lastly a club interaction with the sketchpad would be the cherry on the cake so to speak.
