Bathtub glitch?

When I started playing this afternoon, my sim was able to bathe my toddlers when I asked them to however when I upgraded to a different shower/tub combo, my sim started saying they were unable to walk to the tub. I tried the old shower/tub combo again and I had the same issue. My sim will bathe herself, just not her toddlers. I have moved the tub to an open area and tried resetting my sim and repairing my game however the issue persists.
