Be careful playing offline! SAVES DELETED!!

During the last (November) patch, all my saves during offline play were deleted when I patched. (I DO *NOT* EVEN *HAVE* THAT WINDOWS CLOUD APP ... is it OneDrive or something? IT'S NOT THAT!!)

Do not worry about me, I had backed up my saves. I need to warn you to BACK UP YOUR SAVES EVERY TIME YOU PLAY OFFLINE!! BACK THEM ALL UP BEFORE GOING ONLINE and/or PATCHING!! (To reiterate: every save saved in the window of offline play - including old or new/Save As - might get deleted!!)

Be careful out there! The game's this buggy! (Sorry this post came late! I was all messed up from stuff.)

    simmerLella  I play offline all the time, back and forth with online mode while I'm testing stuff, and have never had this happen, whether while patching or otherwise.  Where is Sims 4 itself installed on your computer?  You can check by opening the EA App and clicking Sims 4 > Manage > View properties.

    I was not playing offline and this happened to me. YEARS of save data GONE. I know this update did this because my mod data is still in the saves folder. Only my saves are gone after doing the update to my game. I am PISSED OFF! All the new family members, builds, saves I created since 2021 are GONE!

    L0ve365  Same question to you: where is your game installed.  Additionally, do you have OneDrive running on your computer?  Even if you never use it, OneDrive could be the issue here.  And how much free and total space do you have on each drive on your computer?

    I wonder if that’s why my whole gallery went poof after I decided to start a new game……………
