Bicycle frustrations
I just want to share my frustrations with bikes in the sims 4.
There are supposed to get your sim from place A to place B in a time-efficient way. But they don't.
Also I have some more frustrations with bikes in general.
Here is why:
1. I feel like my sim also gets onto a bike when walking would be more efficient. Because first my sim has to take the bike from the inventory, get up the bike, ride the bike (for a relatively short distance), then get off the bike and putting in back in the inventory.
2. My sim always tries to get onto a bike right before a stairs, so my sim has to get of pretty much right away. After the stairs are taken by foot, my sim decides to walk the entire remaining distance.
3. Sometimes my sim gets off the bike, and then has routing problems. My sim can't walk elsewhere because he/she is blocked by the bike. Even putting back into the inventory is not possible. The solution here is simply to travel to another lot.
4. My sim rides the bike indoors.
5. The bike helmets change color everytime the sim mounts the bike. Why? Why can't we set the helmet color by clicking on the bike, like we can set the umbrella color by clicking on the umbrella stand.
