Birthday Party Bug

I am able to plan a birthday party and I get the notification telling me it is about to start as usual. But then the party never shows up in gameplay. Time keeps passing and everything is just like a normal day but the event on the calendar is greyed out and says it is occurring. I don't have any CCs or mods. I have only a few packs. This happened to me last week too when trying to have a birthday party.

It doesn't even ask me if I want to start the event!

Did you never have mods/cc or remove them ? Please pick a thread tag for it

Did you test this on both Mac and PC ?

Does the issue happen each time ?

Does this happen only on a certain save game or generally ?

Nevermind. It was just my mistake for not checking if I had the right time after editing the event :’( Thank you for your help.
