Black Lives Matter

Hi, 

I have been a sims player and supporter since Sims became a thing. Reflecting over the current issues that are happening in America, my heart is heavy. I have noticed that Sims has not made a statement on these issues. Being a black woman that plays sims, I feel betrayed by the Sims community for being silent during these times. Sims is a popular game played within the black community. Please understand that we are hurt and we want our Sims community to understand. Please use your platform to raise awareness for the death of George Floyd and countless other needless death.

    @qtally13 The patch for June 2nd has been delayed because of George Floyd, the Music industry called for a pause on all business today is Black Out Tuesday. The Sims community and developers are very devirce and most likely will sponsor anything. Most white people are Angry at what happened to George Floyd at the hands of a bad cop. There are though that do slip through that are bad cops, but it happens everywhere in every job in every neighborhood, there are though that just want to use their title to cause harm its the Job of the Community to find though individuals and report them.

    As mentioned by Sid, the planned patch has been delayed in respect, if further action is to be taken, we’ll let you know.

    @qtally13 This is a game....but even in this game I can't escape from this. I really disaprove of what EA did. I play sims4 to escape from daily life, to relax and enjoy. I don't need EA's opinion when I play a game. I don't WANT it. But it's there. Congrats to you all.
