Why doesnt the books show up after purchasing it from the bookcase?☹️ i have tried several times purchasing it but still nothing show up, is it related to some mods i use maybe? Havent got this issue before the latest update ☹️( please help me out
@moonikoe It could definitely be a mod, so it's worth testing without them. But please also check your sims' personal inventories and the household inventory as well as the bookcase, just in case the books are landing somewhere they shouldn't.

@cavesim Please try playing in a clean user folder. Move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you have the same issue in a new save.
If bookshelf is in home it will appear on the shelf. After purchased
