Bubble Tea Employee Making Excessive Drinks

I installed the Small Businesses & Hobbies expansion pack and have added bubble tea counters to a few businesses. I assign an employee the task of tending tea counters (among other tasks). When they are there, they make excessive amounts of tea - like making tea every minute, unprompted by a customer order. I was paying attention to other things, so I came to the tea counter and had about 30 teas placed everywhere to clean up. This is happening in more than one shop. The employees have other tasks assigned but seem to be prioritizing this over everything else even when there are no customers ordering drinks. I have MCCC and very minimal build buy cc installed but no other mods.
