Building Issues
Hey, guys. I hope you can help me with a building tip or two. I am still learning how to do things.
I was trying to renovate the Goth lot. I added a basement and a pool house out back, but didn't pay attention to the house as I was working on it. The main floor somehow elevated and the stairs to the front porch disappeared and I have a gaping hole where I can see the underground floor through it. I have no idea how to lower the main level. The only thing I can seem to do is lower each room at a time but that does nothing to the outer wall of what I can only guess is the foundation for the main level. Here are a couple pics for a visual of the problem.
To lower the entire building, click on the floor of any first level room. Look towards the middle of the floor for a large double headed arrow. Grab the arrow and drag down. You'll see the foundations go down as you drag the arrow. Just stop and let go of the arrow when the foundation reaches the height you want. Then put the stairs back in. If the ground around the house is not flat at that point, go to the basement level and click on the floor and grab the double headed arrow on that level. Use the page up key to go back to the first level while holding the basement arrow and drag down until the terrain is level again.
Hope this helps.
