Bundle cottage living
Will the cottage living expansion pack be available as part of a bundle soon enough or will it take a while?

I wanted to bundle today too, I don't think I've ever had a problem before. I've just tried looking into it, and the terms and conditions for Cottage Living are different because of the 'extra items' you get, such as the gnome on a chicken, bicycle and tree. It actually treats these as 'deal' items, so you can't use another deal (bundles) until the original deal ends in September. So as I understand it, we're backed in a corner. Either buy it now and get the cool 'free' stuff, or buy it in September as a bundle and not get the extras. I'm so mad if it the case, I've been waiting to bundle since paranormal activity. I love the Sims but they're really starting to milk it.

Feel like if thats what theyre doing, they could just.... not give us the preorder items if we decide to bundle.
Order by itself? Three preorder items!
Order as a bundle? No preorder items, but $50 for an expansion, gamepack, and stuffpack.
Or... just let us bundle with the preorder items.

I'm sad about it but I will be okay. EA is really doing too much if they won't let us bundle because of the "deal" items. Let's wait and see though I guess (but I'm sooooo with you on waiting)

No expansion or game packs have ever been available to bundle from release day. This is the first time there has been an early buy bonus. So since it has never been available to bundle from the beginning that there now are a bonus for ordering before September 2nd has nothing to do with being unable to bundle it.
@jpkarlsen Thanks! I did say I would wait and see [if it becomes available to bundle as usual after a few days/weeks] so that is what I will do 🙂
There is some talk earlier in this current thread about (if one looks into the fine print of bundling) the deal/early buy bonus items potentially impacting the ability to add on other deals, such as bundling, so that is what I am replying to here.
