Buying DLC on Origin for The Sims 4 bought on Steam

Hello.

According to this https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/troubleshooting-ea-games-on-steam/ I can buy DLC through Origin and it will work for Origin-required games bought through Steam.
However I don't see a clear answer to this question: will the Origin-bought DLC work together with Steam-bought DLC?

@TheWiktorable Yes, your Origin- and Steam-bought DLC will work together IF you install the base game through Steam. From there, you can install your other Steam-bought packs, then your Origin-bought packs, and everything should load properly.

@puzzlezaddict Would the dlc that was bought off origin show up with the other dlc on steam ?

@BakerBakeryy I believe it would not. It's my understanding that Steam only displays the content purchased directly from Steam.
