[BY DESIGN] Story Mode: Can't pick Likes/Dislikes

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.75.125.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All but Home Decor
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Start a new game and create a Sim via Story Mode 2. Try to pick likes/dislikes
What happens when the bug occurs? Can't pick likes/dislikes with a Sim created in Story Mode
What do you expect to see? Being able to pick likes/dislikes from start.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Introduction of Likes/Dislikes in Patch 1.75

This issue is easy to work around. You can just take them back to CAS after placing them in the game and then you'll be able to pick likes/dislikes and they can also stilll be gained through gameplay but it would still be better if they could be picked from start.

    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions except GF Game packs: All except RoM, Vamp & SD Stuff packs - Owned: Vint Glam, Toddler Stuff, Tiny living, Spooky stuff, NiftKnit, Movie hang, Moschino, Landry, Kids room, Bowling. No kits.
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use "add sim via story" in CAS
    What happens when the bug occurs? When the sim appears, you can't add any likes or dislikes.
    What do you expect to see? Being able to add them. Since they are not generated via story there is no reason for it being locked, seems like an oversight rather than a conscious decision.
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    I started a brand new save. Created a random Sim using Story Mode. The Sim was created with Aspirations, Traits, Career, Skills, etc. And while the Traits cannot be changed, you can see them. However, the Like and Dislikes cannot be selected or viewed (it's just a question mark icon). I understand maybe no being able to change them, but you should be able to view them.
