[BY DESIGN] The "x" does not appear in the wishes of the sim

Game without mods. The (x) does not appear to me to cancel the whims that I do not want to fulfill in my game. is it normal? 

I'm talking about this little x:

    Hi there. I hope you can help me. I can see my Sims wants, but i cant reject them, I can only pin them. Any ideas please?

    @capetowngirlie  I've merged your post with the master thread for this issue.  This is by design: whims have been replaced by wants, and wants work a bit differently.  Your sims should roll new wants when they sleep.

    @Angieloversims Yes, they designed it that way with the last update and I HATE IT!!! I really don't even want to play anymore because even if you do make them drink it away, like wanting to flirt with random sims, it comes back over and over and the same one's come back over and over according to your sims traits... No variety anymore and I hate it!

    Hey so I realized something that was annoying on the console version. I know it seems small but when ur grinding satisfaction points without using cheats it's very noticeable.The x which can cancel a whim in the sims 4 isn't there for the console version,I've seen it on PC but it's missing on console.

    @Dragon-SAMA11111 No one has an x anymore. That was part of whims. Whims were replaced with wants & fears last year - wants cannot be cancelled.
